The "Why"
Scar tissue could affect the brain to muscle connection, muscle development & interfere with lymphatic drainage or can be very dangerous and even life threatening in abdominal scarring which untreated could lead to vascular strangulations or nerve impingement (Alexander H. DeCherney, Gere S. diZerega 1997).
Abdominal scars root in like a weed in the ground which could affect the most important core muscle (Emre Ergul, Birol Korukluoglu 2008). Studies show intra-abdominal pressure could help your spine in stabilizing your nervous system (Frank C, Kobesova A, Kolar P 2013). This is the pressure we stabilize as a baby with back & tummy time.
In addition, abdominal scarring could have a negative impact on your breathing that goes undetected. With Caesarians becoming more prevalent we created scarPRO to help mother's and other scar sufferers after abdominal surgeries to get their health back.
Prevention is key which is where scarPRO comes in!
